"This has been such a hit with my two year old. We primarily use it outside at parks or on trails, but it has even helped to occupy him while waiting in a doctor's office. It's the perfect size and shape for chubby little fingers, so much easier to hold onto than a traditionally shaped magnifying glass. Ours has gotten wet with no issues. I took the tethers off because I thought they would just get in the way, but I suppose they might be helpful for an older kid. The whistle works great.

"I am happy with this item it is as advertised. However I would suggest you take care to protect the lens from hard objects. Unsurprisingly the lens got scratched because it was in the same bag as a rock."
